Notes: According to their website, Climate Change is Elementary is a program geared for elementary through middle school students and their parents. It empowers students, parents, and teachers who attend to create a clean and green future together.​

In an e-mail, Dave stated the 'clean and greeen future' quote is the final statement at the end of his presentation. 

Dave said the quote "defuses the deniers and skeptics who come to Family Night. Incidentally our program is highly dependent on Family Night. I would not deliver the program in a school and get the kids all riled up if we did not have the parents coming in that same evening.

His rational is that "the worst thing is for kids to go home and say 'Mom we need to change our light bulbs' and to then get in trouble with the parents.

The purpose of Climate Change is Elementary is to get kids and teachers and parents working together to solve the problem."
