Bite notes: This statement comes from The Geneva Report ‘The insurance industry and climate change – Contribution to the global debate.’
Insurance companies are experts in risk and, as such, they have no doubts about the potential impact of climate change on modern society. In the conclusion the report says,
“...the leaders of the world’s largest insurance companies, as represented in The Geneva Association, have identified climate change as their joint priority number one.”
